ANDE joins AMEA!

We are happy to announce that Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs - ANDE - is joining AMEA!

“ANDE is a global network of organizations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets. ANDE members provide critical financial, educational, and business support services to small and growing businesses (SGBs) based on the conviction that SGBs will create jobs, stimulate long-term economic growth, and produce environmental and social benefits.”

ANDE’s activities are aimed at supporting its members to strengthen growth-oriented small businesses and the markets in which they operate, which ANDE believes will create more quality jobs and build resilience in low-resource settings. All of this points to the common aims of ANDE and AMEA. ANDE supports its members through networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, driving resources to the SGB sector, providing guidance on metrics and evaluation, producing relevant research, and offering opportunities for training and talent development. Several ANDE members are involved in providing innovative solutions to the agricultural sector globally, building strong and sustainable value chains.

“ANDE is excited to join AMEA, an Alliance that shares a commitment to building capacity for conducting business activities. Many ANDE members contribute to the common goal of more professional farmer organizations and joining AMEA will help us work toward better alignment in this area. We believe in the power of sharing expertise and look forward to future collaboration with a like-minded network,” says Stephanie Buck from ANDE.

AMEA is looking forward to work closely with the ANDE, improving capacity development activities and support for entrepreneurship globally.
