AMEA is excited to announce the official launch of the Cote d’Ivoire Local Network!
AMEA local networks bring together practitioners in one country around the common objective of advancing professional farmer organizations. Local networks are active spaces to generate new partnerships, share learnings and address key challenges with other agribusiness stakeholders.
The AMEA Cote d’Ivoire Local Network has already played a key role in developing the AMEA Framework. This local network conducted a regional workshop to gather inputs for the IWA 29 (June 2018) and has certified the first AMEA-ALP trainers in Cote d’Ivoire.
On 16 April 2019, AMEA Global, presided by IFC and in collaboration with IDH, CNFA, Fairtrade Africa, Cargill, ACDI-VOCA, TechnoServe, iCRA, SCOPEinsight and Rainforest Alliance will officially launch the AMEA Cote d’Ivoire Local Network in Abidjan.
The programme for the event includes
An introduction to AMEA Global
An overview of the IWA 29: Professional Farmer Organization - Guidelines
Presentations on the AMEA Working Groups
An AMEA Cote d’Ivoire Market Assessment Report
The AMEA Cote d’Ivoire Local Network strategy
